Markeaton <1>
Sat. Oct. 13th

Dear Mr Talbot

We are at home, & shall be happy to see you any day that may best suit you to come. You will find William & Harriot <2> with us, busily occupied house hunting, in which pursuit they are out for the day, They speak with pleasure of their visit at Lacock, but with regret of having missed you both there & here, & will I am sure be delighted to hear you purpose to spare us a few days on your return from your tour.

The very fine weather is all past, but with us it is still warm & we yet live in hopes of a few more beautiful Autumnal days.

Accept our united kind regards & believe me
Yours very truly
S. Mundy
