I am requested to apprise you of the intention of Mr Matthias Attwood <1> to move the subjoined resolution in going into Committee of Supply, on Friday next 29th Inst – You attendance in the house is earnestly desired.

To Enquire into the State of depression, difficulty and embarrassment existing amongst the various orders of the Community: with a view to ascertain how far these effects have been produced by our present Monetary System and particularly that System on Agriculture, Manufactures & Commerce: and on the industrious & operative classes.
