My dear Henry
I have forwarded your letter to Edward as he has returned to London. I do not think he had heard from you whilst he was here. I see many difficulties about the exchange but of course he will be most anxious to find what will be an advantage to his old parish. I do not suppose there could be any chance of an arrangement such as you speak of with Mr Blomfield as there is a great difference in value &c &c which wd be undesireable difficult to deal with. But these are matters I am not competent to advise in, besides which my health is so far from being strong that I must keep from all worry.
We all feel how kind you have always been to him & how much we owe to your consideration he is just as sensible of it as we are.
I only hope he will manage an exchange to the advantage of the poor of Lacock – & that he will not be too far off for us to go & see him – No doubt my Brother could advise you if you see him.
Believe me yours affly
Jane H Nicholl
