Dear Sir,
The Pedigree which I proposed to enclose in my letter was so large that I was obliged to send it by Railway –
Hence the delay in its reaching you.
I am told that I ought to have a spare copy of Sir F Kelly’s speech –
I will have it looked for and if I should be so fortunate as to find it I shall have much pleasure in lending it to you –
I do not know whether the following may not be interesting to you –
Marriage at Worfield
1665 Oct: The 22 day were married by Licence from Doctor Littelton Henry Davenport of Hallon Esq and Elizabeth Talbott <sic> of <Litchfield?> daughter of Sharington Talbot of Foley.
I do not know where Foley is, but it is probably the name of some seat of Mr Sharington Talbot’s.
I beg to remain
Dear Sir,
Yr very faithful
Servant
Richd: Nicholson
H. Fox Talbot Esq
Lacock Abbey –
