My dear Sir,
Your letter has saved me from a gross blunder and has demonstrated to myself my own determination. I fixed at least a dozen words [illegible deletion] nouns, and verbs, all regularly registrated registered from the same root, met or l’upqida Esar vi.51. tapaqui EIH. i.60 paged i.43 &c &c If this loss of memory continues I shall be unable to proceed far with my dictionary. It may perhaps be necessary to give myself a little holiday, but I am anxious to complete the few pages remaining of my Part III.
I forgot in my yesterdays letter to advert to the “[gelai?] a tablet” which you enquired about – I looked over my dictionary, but have found nothing like it. If you will kindly send me particulars about the word you have in view I will look further.
I find registered asiqud I appointed in Esar vi.36 but my reference is wrong
I remain My dear Sir, Yours sincerely
Edwin Norris
