Dear Sir,

On your manuscript the clause of Cuneiform sign FTCuneiform07477a.jpg is left out exactly as in the book; but I will take care that it shall be inserted as in your letter when printed in our Journal. <1>

I am quite unable to say when the printed Inscriptions will be issued. Many are printed off, and more ready for press; but I should suppose the issue will depend on the Trustees of the museum. None of the versions are yet printed, so far as I know, but that is a matter depending wholly on Colonel Rawlinson. <2> The Trustees print the text only
