Dear Sir,
I have had so much to do that I forgot to reply to your note, <1> for which I beg to make my excuses; however I did not forget to send it to Rawlinson, <2> on the spot, asking him to tell me, if I should say anything to you in reply. He says he is very much occupied, but will talk it over in a day or two.
