Dear Sir
I thank you sincerely for the “Assyrian Translations.” <1> I never read any of your papers from which I do not get valuable information, though I differ in particulars. The Tablet 162 is very curious; I must have seen it before, and very possibly I have copied it; but I do not now remember. The paper on Hammurabi <2> I heard at the rooms of the R. Soc of Lit. but I was disappointed at not seeing you there.
By the same post I received from Mons Ménant a pamphlet in folio! on the Inscriptions “des revers de plaques du Palais de Khorsabad” printed at the Imprimerie Imperiale. <3> I have not had time even to glance at it.
Yours faithfully
Edwin Norris
