The Trustees at their last Meeting had before them your letter of the 23rd. inst and they have much pleasure in acceding to your request for a copy of the Cuneiform Inscriptions published by them in 1851 and they have directed that this volume be presented to you –
The two volumes have accordingly been forwarded to you by the great Northern railway and addressed in full and “to be left at the Gogar Station”- I shall be glad to hear that you receive the volumes safely.
