H. Fox Talbot Esqre
Sir –
We received safely this Morning the steel plate, and immediately handed it to Mr Brooker – Our Manager has been with him this Morning and finds he is making good progress with the Steels, the coppers however Are not at present usable We are now beginning to feel tolerably confident of being able to keep faith as to our promise – More steel subjects would however lessen any remaining risk, should you therefore succeed or have succeeded in taking more on steel prior to Thursday evening so that we could receive them not later than Friday morning we should be glad to have them if you would favour us by sending them.
We are Sir Yours very truly
