In Answer to Mine of the 10 Instant, your Secretary Informs me that it is your Intention to Settle my Account Shortly

But I Beg to Inform you the Agreement Was that I Should Be Paid Monthly

I have had to Pay Ready Money For Labour and Materiel <sic> and have Given you 6 Months Credit Without applying for Payment

It <sic> your request I have Sent in the Account No Less then <sic> Four Times to Diferent <sic> Persons Taking Up My Time to No Purpose

I Am Now in Immediate Want of the Money having Made Purchases to An Extent Calculating On the Payment (Of My Bill) Wish <sic> I had A Right to Expect Would Be Paid On the First Application

If not Convenient to Go into the Account Perhaps you Will Oblige Me With £30 on Account As I have Payments to Make On the 24 Instant
