The Solicitor General has allowed the Report on your Patent <1> for the following matters–
1st. Fr the use of the Solution of Gold with one of the baser Metals –
2nd. With Borascen acid
3. In the mode of preparing the metal
“ The same for platinum
“ But not for the substitution of the oxides of Silver instead of the chloride in the process of silvering metal, –
Will you send us instructions whether you will proceed with the Patent for this – in order that the matter may be pushed forward.
