31 Sackville St <1>

Dear Sir

As Mr Children <2> is out of town, I wish to know if you could let me have my paper “on Light”, <3> in order that I may publish it in the Philosophl Magazine <4> – Mr C. informed me that you took much interest in optical experiments, if you would like to see some of those I have described, I should have great pleasure in showing them to you any day this week, or the next, when you may be at leisure.

Believe me, dear sir, Yours very truly
H. F. Talbot
