M^r Cottrell has replied to my last l^r point^g out some errors his expl^ns are I am m^ch obliged / him for his expl^ns w^ch are in many respects quite satisf^y, but without altering my oppinⁿ formed on gen^{l other} grounds as to y^e value of this min^l prop^y as the ore &c &c.

Indeed I think that if I am to construct a br^ch railwy (ab^t 1½ m. in length) join^g the GWR it w^d make all matters smooth by the saving it w^d effect, & _^^the easy work^g & _^^it w^d repay me for y^e outlay, after a time.

I sh^d like y. t see my iron gr^ds if y have time on Sat. morn^g & I will have a convey^ce ready the hill b^g somewhat too far for a walk.
