Mr Cottrell has replied to my last lr pointg out some errors his explns are I am mch obliged / him for his explns wch are in many respects quite satisfy, but without altering my oppinn formed on genl other grounds as to ye value of this minl propy as the ore &c &c.
Indeed I think that if I am to construct a brch railwy (abt 1½ m. in length) joing the GWR it wd make all matters smooth by the saving it wd effect, & ^the easy workg & ^it wd repay me for ye outlay, after a time.
I shd like y. t see my iron grds if y have time on Sat. morng & I will have a conveyce ready the hill bg somewhat too far for a walk.
