My Dear Sir,

The purpose of these lines in merely to indicate the safe receipt of your last kind letter and to express my thanks for the generous communication of the citation regarding the phonetic transcription of Hekal.

I have already incorporated the notice into the “Nachträgen” and you will shortly read your gracious proof in print. The printing is nearly complete. In approximately 3 weeks I hope to be able to send you the brochure. In the meantime

I remain with kindest devotion, Yours,

Eberh Schrader.

It pleases me greatly to hear that your conjecture sinunta = hir<undo?> is confirmed generally. Are you aware that the assyrian sami' for heaven is contained in Hesychius in <Greek> (<Greek>)? To me the identity of both words is beyond doubt.
