Sir/

I have procured a Dedimus <1> for swearing you a Justice of the peace for this County agreeably to your directions –

As you cannot act as a Justice, until you have taken the usual oaths at the Quarter Sessions I presume you would prefer taking the whole together at the same time; And I beg to inform you that our next Sessions will be held at Salisbury on Tuesday the 9th of April, on which day (the first or opening day) the Oaths must be taken before twelve o’clock – The Court opens at Eleven
