Sir/

I have procured a Dedimus ^<1> for swearing you a Justice of the peace for this County agreeably to your directions –

As you cannot act as a Justice, until you have taken the usual oaths at the Quarter Sessions I presume you would prefer taking the whole together at the same time; And I beg to inform you that our next Sessions will be held at Salisbury on Tuesday the 9^th of April, on which day (the first or opening day) the Oaths must be taken before twelve o’clock – The Court opens at Eleven
