Tuesday –

My dear Henry

I am sorry you should be so long in London by yourself: – though I dare say you have business enough to prevent time hanging heavily on your hands – Did you ever feel anything approaching to that sensation? – Since you went Price’s <1> illness has taken the form of a severe bilious attack & she keeps her bed – I had Mr Jennings <2>’ advice for her on Sunday – but he does not seem to have hit off the right things at present – I forward 3 letters to you today. – If Mlle Amélina <3> knew of your being in Town, 2 days post might be saved – Matilda’s <4> cold is well & all of us having have been enjoying the fine weather out of doors –

Your affectionate
Constance –

thank you for the Newspaper –
