Dover.
March 18th/69.
My dear Father
I write a line to say that I arrived here yesterday afternoon. I was rather seasick, the sea being much rougher this side of the channel than at Calais.
This morning it is remarkably smooth. I came from Brussells yesterday, and I am going on to London today. –
– It is pleasant here this mrning morning and the sun warm.
I see Crocusses in flower in the gardens alm at the East Cliff.
