My dear Father.

Uncle Mundy <1> has asked me to spend a few days or a week at Markeaton <2> on my way to Edinburgh, which If you have no objection I should like to accept. Will you be so good as to send me some money in a post office order for I have hardly got any and I suppose I shall want a little more than usual. Will you send me an answer as soon as possible.
