Saturday

My dear Father,

I shall arrive at Chippenham <2> if possible by The Express train which gets there at 11.50. on Tuesday next, and shall be much obliged if you will send the carriage to meet me. It is raining hard to day here, which is unlucky for there is a cricket match going on.
