My dear Papa

You will be glad to hear that Mamma has a beautiful day for coming here. She is just arrived and desires me to thank you for two letters – one received this morning and the other yesterday. Monie also got your letter written Sunday. We are glad to hear of your having prospered so well in every respect, weather excepted. I hope you will have it fine & warm at Speddoch.
