My dear Henry
I was very glad to see your hand writing and shall be delighted if my letter finds you in Town, as I shall be there myself next week. I expect & hope I may have some chance of seeing you! I can give a good account of all here and I shall keep my lamentations about the disasters in the flower Garden of which I feel sure I know but a few & dread they are many.
Charlotte is tolerable but must feel much worried I am sure by this law business & I am anxious to be with her so I shall leave home on Monday & proceed to Town when she does. You shall have another line from me when we are there
I am glad to hear you are all well after this severe winter. I think it has been much felt by the poor old folks in general but there has been less illness here amongst Childn than usual.
Theodore is gone up to Williamstrip, there is some ball or other which his cousin from Penllergare wants him for. we all like what we know of the young Lady & I think her fortunate in securing the affections of such an amiable person as my nephew John Llewelyn a really good young man & as both have been well brought up I hope it will turn out a very satisfactory marriage –
I am in haste Your affate
Coz Mary
