Tuesday

My dear Henry

We shall be very glad to see you whenever you come & if I am not at home insist upon seeing Jane, <1> she is pretty well but does not go out. I suppose you have heard of poor Lady Nicholl’s death. <2> You had better only leave your name in Bruton Street as they do not wish to see any body but their very particular friends.

I only got your note this morning at my breakfast. The Dowr Lady Sheffield <3> is in Town but I think Mr & Mrs Frankland <4> are gone to Dover I do not know of any more of our acquaintances who are in town now. –

Your affate coz
Mary
