4 Circus <1>
March 1st
My dear Papa,
I suppose Charles <2> has told you that I am going to London today to stay a week with the Speddings. <3> I shall be back on Tuesday. Please to sign & send me the enclosed cards, addressed to 80 Westbourne Terrace, W. The Noel Mundys are also in town, as Emily’s lame foot requires nursing for another week, so I shall see them.<4>
We think it will do quite well, supposing you do not like to disturb yourself and come back here so soon, if you could spare Cox from Thursday the 9th to Saturday 11th to instruct the new footman; that would be quite long enough to set him agoing, & then you could choose your own time for coming later to stay. But of course we only wish you to do what you like best.
We have only just money enough to last this week and next, having taken out the remainder today.
I hope to get to the British Museum this time. If you have any suggestions to make please let me have them.
I go at 1.30 – so good bye dear Papa,
Your most affectionate daughter
Rosamond
