Monday 27th
My dear Papa,
I forward this letter just arrived, but do not venture to add more than a scrap for fear of making it over weight. We have settled no plans yet. We shouldn’t gain much by moving, before Mama <1> gets stronger. She is beginning to enjoy being out rather longer at a time. It is much cooler these two days with plenty of air. Tilly <2> writes from London with the therm 92,<3> and yet they go about visiting, dining & to the Opera like anything!
Your affct. daughter
Rosamond.
