My dear Cousin Henry
In conjunction with a few Other Oxford men I am talking going to the lakes, we propose to form a reading party and shall be about eight in number Can you tell me what sort of accommodation we shall find at Derwentwater, and can you recommend any other place as more likely to suit such a party. We should not occupy the house [ill.del.] but probably lodge together in lots of about two or three. Our chief doubt about Derwentwater is as to the amount of accommodation attainable and should therefore be glad to be informed on that point. Pray give my kind love to Mrs Talbot and my cousins,
and Believe me Yrs very affectly
Theodore M. Talbot
