Mr Tate sends for Mr Talbot’s perusal that article of his on the metrical Canon –

Class. Journ. XLV. p.166.

He sends also his little book on Metres .. <1> on the same point. pp. 11.12.

Mr Talbot may perhaps be amused with the article in Class. Journ. p. 147. on Thucydides <2> misquoted.
