Sir,

I write that I may without delay express my best thanks for your kind offer of the Paper & Plates relating to Analytic Crystals. <1> I fear I shall be prevented calling on you (from some engagements at this busy time) before Saturday: but shall gladly avail myself of your offer, as I can procure from Mr Hullmandel <2> the remaining number of impressions.

I have not yet been able to come to any conclusion about the Scientific Memoirs; but, still, I have strong hopes, that from the desire that is expressed for their continuance, that I may be enabled to succeed in effecting that object.

I am, Sir, with great respect Your obedt Sert
Richard Taylor.
