Dear Mr Talbot
I have been told that it is proper that I should give you a release from being Trustee of my Marriage Settlement as at the death of my husband the whole property became at my disposal, I believe I ought to have done this when I first became a Widow but I am very ignorant in matters of business & hope you will excuse the neglect
If you agree to the transfer of the money I will desire Drummonds to forward you a power of Attorney to execute; which is all that is necessary to enable them to place the money in my name in the stock. I have the marriage Settlement if you wish to see it but I have shewn it to a Solicitor who says the whole is now at my disposal & I have no doubt that you remember that it is so, & it will save any trouble in case of my death if the money is transferred to my name, The other Trustees, have given their consent. I remain
yrs sincerely
