my birthday

My dear Henry

Mrs Morse sends you some seeds of the Candelabra Lily – just beginning to grow – also an oxalis & a thistle all just arrived from the Cape

I hope you got home comfortably We have now two Mr Saundersons staying with us & are going to take them to see Margam tomorrow we shall stay over Sunday there that we may hear the choir sing in the Church – Theodore has taken a great deal of pains about their singing & he wishes us to hear how well they do it now – We drove to Dunmore yesterday but found the Lady was not at home. We fell in with Theodore Talbot on the road – he was out hunting I shall soon be going to Penllergare but not before next week is gone by – Pray tell Mrs Talbot we shall be very glad to see her & your two daughters when you make you trip to Mentone –

Yours affly

Charlotte L Traherne
