Dunraven Castle <1>

Decr. 20th. 1839

Dear Talbot

I find from Calv. Jones <2> that you are expected at Margam. <3> We hope that you will not leave the County without paying us a visit. We shall return to Coedriglan <4> t’morrow & leave it on Tuesday – but shall be at home again on the 25th.

We have just received Hermes. No. 2. <5> & I think that some of your suggestions are very ingenious.–

The Bishop of Llandaff <6> is printing some letters of Lord Dudley’s <7> – in one from Nice in 1822 – he mentions yourself in flattering terms.

Yours truly

John M. Traherne

Traherne
Henry Fox Talbot Esq
