My Dear Trevelyan
I have sent you my book by the railway, and also a collection of photographic pictures done by my process which we now call the Talbotype.
Among them is a set of views of Oxford, comprising several of your old college University. And there are five or six of little bits & corners of this old abbey. –
I shall be delighted to visit yourself and Ly Trevelyan at Nettlecombe one of these days, though my Engagements will prevent me from doing so at present. Perhaps you will be at home during some part of next spring or summer –
I hope you continue your botanical collections – Shall I send you some Lupine seeds, perhaps a new species, from the lava near the summit of Etna?
Believe me Yours every truly
H. F. Talbot
