My Dear Talbot –

Many thanks for your book & for a splendid collection of Talbotypes – many of them are indeed very beautiful – In the masters garden at University I could even recognise some of the plants which I knew growing there. –

I shall be very glad to have some of the Lupin seeds you mention from Etna – If you cultivate plants you would like perhaps to have some seed of Anemone palmata & Spartium monospermum which we brought from the Peninsula [illegible deletion] & which I shall be glad to send you. –
