My Dear Trevelyan

I send the lupin seed from the lava of Etna. I am very partial to the genus Anemone & should like very much seed of the palmata, a species I never met with wild. I shd also like Spartium monospermum as I have not got it & it is very ornamental.

Are you meditating any tour for next spring? May and June are the really interesting months for a botanical tour in the North of Europe as April & May are in the South –

In August there is not 1/50th part of the Flora left, according to my experience. Did you ever botanize on the Carinthian Alps? They are particularly rich, and easy of access in these days

Believe me Yours ever truly
H. F. Talbot
