Dear Trevelyan
I was very much interested by the Prospectus which you sent me of a mining company in Greenland and I think it very likely to be successful. The latitude is hardly north of the Shetland islands and the miners will not be exposed to hardships.
It is very likely that new kinds of ores will be discovered or ample deposits of rare ones. Many years ago Gieveke pointed out the richness of Greenland.
I had not time before leaving Edinburgh to send you some specimens of my photoglyphic Engravings, but I am now returning to Scotland and will send you some
I remain Yours every truly
