Wilts Somerset & Weyth

Dear Sir

The embankment has now so far progressed that further delay in the Construction of the bridge in field No 5 Laycock, would be extremely inconvenient.

I trust therefore, that as respects this bridge, the site chosen by Mr Little professedly as your agent, may be considered as having been approved – and as respects the remaining two bridges, the matter may remain as at present, altho’ not without inconvenience to the Coy for the time you mention –

I remainDear Sir
Your obedt St

<M.?> Ward

H: Fox Talbot Esq–
