Sir
I beg to inform you that I spoke to Mr West Awdry about Mrs Marchant and he promised to see Sir John Awdry about it after its Settled he will write and tell you. After Mr Awdry left me he went to Mrs Marchant he thought she had better be satisfied with what she got as the Guardions <sic> may compel her to Go into the Asylum if she was not satisfied after that she came and wished me to ask you to be so kind as to give her sixpence per week instead of the 2lbs of Mutton which I promised her to do after I had heard how Mr Awdry had settled it I am sorry I sent the parcel on to you but I was afraid it was particular – in future I will do as you mentioned
I beg to remain Sir your Most Obedient Servant
Geo Wilkins
