Dear Sir
I think it proper to inform you that the Bailiff of this Borough as the Chairman of the Committee for managing the Reform Dinner, has just received a Letter from Mr Mayne inclosing a Cheque for £25 towards the expences, and apprizing him of his full intention of attending here on Wednesday next, the day of rejoicing, if he is sufficiently recovered from the Lumbago under which he is now suffering –
