We sent our nouveau Cuisinier <2> Lubin (who I hope will not find an Annette in England) to the Bureau dans la Haute Ville <3> but he is returned without any letter from yu, which discomposes me. I am very cold & miserable at this moment, & we shall not land at Dover till quite dark, which I do not much like.
