Dear Sir
Herewith I beg to send you Copies of the Circulars issued during the late Election. – I also send you the Bakers bills for Bread and Mr Alexanders <2> bill for printing – in addition to these there is Mr Lawes <3> the Innkeepers bill, which has not been sent me, and sundry other small bills for spirits &c at the different Public Houses, extra Bread given away Poll Clerk &c. which I have not yet paid amounting I should suppose to about £20, – the Ringers have applied to me, but I have refused to give them any thing without your directions – There will also be your Share of the Hustings and Special Constables to be pay for
No Beer was given away after the Election but a great many Windows were broken in the Evening – I am informed the Election Dinner is fixed for Tuesday next
