Wynyard <1>
Novr 21st

Caro <2>

I had no idea Ly Londonderry’s <3> Groom would have found you out so easily at Darlington. When she gave the letter to the Groom of the Chamber she said to him “ il faut qu’on le trouve" <4> – but I own at the time I thought that more easily said than done.

We go Monday the 23d to Aske Lord Dundas’s <5> – & on Thursday 26th to Lord Grantham’s <6> further you shall hear at the post office Wetherby –

Mr F. <7> received your letter this morning.

I wished you to come here only beca[use]<8> the House is a thing to see & that I cannot tell how you will dispose of yourself – while we are at Aske Mr F. will write thence to Wetherby
