Cutcombe Vicarage

Janry 28th
Sir,
According to your request I have caused a headstone to be erected to the memory of Elizbth Vickery <1>, & I copy the inscription on the other page. The whole cost of the stone, carriage, my own usual fee, &c has been £3..18, which I hope you will not think extravagant. Such things are very dear here being brought from a distance. A cheque at the foot of your letter on your Banker may be the most convenient way of making the payment of to me.
Your obdt Servt
John Meyers King.
Erected to the Memory of Elizbth Vickery his kind & faithful nurse by Henry Fox Talbot of Lacock Abbey in the country of Wilts Esqre
