Chippenham
5th March 1846
Dear Sir
In Mr Goldney’s absence I have the pleasure to acknowledge the receipt of the Agreement executed by the Messrs Fussell and to enclose you the memoranda as requested
Companies purchasing Land for the purpose of Railways are bound by the Land Clauses Consolidation Act to pay all expenses both of Title and Conveyance and we feel assured that in the present transaction you would not wish our client to suffer by the effort he has made to accommodate you, nor indeed could we propose it to him.
Mr Goldney will I have no doubt write to you fully by tomorrows Post as he is better acquainted with the circumstances than
Yours very faithfully
<Thos?> Abdy. <sic> Fellowes
