<Cordriglau?>
My dear Henry
Mr Traherne sent you by the mail this morning a small case of Talbotypes from Calvert Jones which he received yesterday on board the Galatea, as also a few loose specimens which he sealed up & sent by post, they were delivered to him by the captain will you have the kindness to let him know when you receive them – he would write to you himself today but is tired & not well – they have settled that the funeral shall take place on Friday next – crowds of people came to see the Yatch <sic> come in – & I suppose there will be great numbers collected when the remains are removed to the house the day before the funeral which is to be very early in order to prevent any crowd there –
Mama is coming here to-day but I believe Mary is going to Penllergau because Emma & several of the children are poorly and she thinks she shall be useful in nursing them –Love to Horatia & Mrs Talbot
Your affectionate cousin
Charlotte Traherne
Mr Traherne desires me to tell you that by Christopher’s particular instructions none but his & her brothers-in-law are to attend the funeral –
