In reply to y^rs of y^s date, I will w^d observe that it w^d might be open to me at a future time since I can to join y^r C^y at any time (by mut^l cons^t of all parties as to the condit^ns) ^but I had rather not do so at pres^t –

I have sent instruct^ns to my patent agent to draw out the Lic^se accord^g to the terms agreed upon.

I have also asked him to inform me whether it is customary or not to share that the expense of the license sh^d be shared.
