M^r Du Pasquier ^<1> has been fully informed of all that has taken place between you & myself and I cannot suppose he would act contrary to the spirit of those “Conditions”

I do not know wherein the departure consists contained in the second clause of your letter ^<2> that “ M^r Pretch ^<3> should confine himself to that modification which he considers peculiarly his own viz the Electrotype process” – I believe that the whole thing is so much in its infancy that for practical purposes very necessary changes will have to be made I now trust you are coming to London because an hour personally will do more than years of correspondance therefore I shall wait an intimation of your arrival
