I directed my reply to Mr Ward <1>, requestg him to send you either my letter or a Copy of it. I trust it will be satisfactory to all parties concerned.

obs To yr obsn yt you consider certain portions of our agreement [illegible] to be binding upon you “do not admit” my right to select ye posns of ye bridges

I am desired by my [illegible] Solr strictly merely to reply simply that you have made an agreement with me, which agreement is binding upon you and that we call upon you to execute the agreement it in this particular & in all others.
