Dear Sir,

I have arranged with Farmer Fry to cut the Grass in the Stew Ground<1> at once & afterwards to feed sheep there till Xmas, paying at the rate of £1. per Acre.

Mr Little <2> will attend to your wishes about the Railway on Monday.

1. The Nun's ancient stew pond, used for raising fish for the kitchen, located just northeast of Lacock Abbey.
