Chippenham
1 Feb: 1847
Dear Sir,
I feel obliged by your kind consideration but if you will ascertain where Mr Mansel Talbot <1> is to be met with I will wait upon him either in Town or Country as you may determine, any day after next Friday
I received the Map and should have gone to Wick Farm this Morning but I found that your Tenant would not be at home.
The withdrawal of the offer of Compensation in <lieu?> of the third Bridge appears very extraordinary: I thought you will might have accepted it without injury to your Property or much inconvenience to your Tenant.
I am dear SirYour obliged Servant
West Awdry.
